Gorgeous hotel in an amazing location. We booked a superior room and truly enjoyed it. - the venue is conveniently located near the airport and other surrounding areas. - the hotel is right by the Deli Restaurant, a great spot for dinner.

Good location,... Breakfast on the roof terrace... The staff at the reception is very helpful.
The staff at breakfast is very lame and hardly speak/understands English. The rooms are partly well-listened.

Good and central location. Not too loud, though. All sights within easy walking distance. Everything clean and the staff very friendly. Beside the welcome drink there was a city map with information about sightseeings. Tours to Ha Long Bay were also offered and well advised. With the second stay in Hanoi we booked the hotel again.

In the old district you can find the most things on walking district. 10 min walking to the lake. The place is very crowded as the streets are narrow. Most of the times difficult to walk because the sidewalks are filled with parked scooters or people eating at the stalls, you will have to walk on the streets. But it's charming and the way it works here. The room was good, but there were no mirrors in there it looked like. We found there was a mirror on the inside of the closet door when we were leaving :-). Very friendly and helpful staff. They want to help you with everything, but my experiences were not that good. I ordered food via one of their restaurants but it did not taste good. A massage was arranged in the same street, but there I found the masseuse wanting to pick my pocket. I did not book any tours with them because I prebooked it at the sinh tourist earlier this year. So no information about the tours they can arrange.
Cockroaches in the kitchen, but it looked liked cockroaches are part of the old district. The beds were a little hard. The bathroom itself was acceptable, not in a very good condition in my opinion. When showering the water was flowing to the 2nd drain near the toilet instead of the drain that was made for the shower itself, causing to wet up almost the whole bathroom floor.

I stayed at the hanoi Serenity Hotel for 3 nights and the only thing I liked about this hotel was the staff.
Besides the staff, the rest is not worth the money. We got there early in the moorning and they were very kind and gave us a room anywhere, however we used it until I saw a flea in the bed. We went donw to the reception and they upgraded us to a better room. The standard one was small and dirty, the better one, was bigger but still not worth the money. We stayed at another hotel in Hanoi earlier during the same trip and I hope we could have gone back to the first one. For the same money you can get better options. Another issue was the noise, but not the expected noise from hanoi's motorbikes and street activity, but the noise coming from the hotel itself, since they decided to do some repairs from 8 am to 10pm!

Very friendly and helpful staff. I received all the information I needed the minute I arrived and check-in was performed quickly and quietly while I was invited for a cup of complimentary coffee or tea in the adjacent breakfast room. Apart from this, the hotel's location is great and the facilities, if not great, absolutely adequate at this price point.
No complaints, really. I could have mentioned how Hanoi is very noisy and busy but this did nothing to disturb my sleep, so I have nothing negative to report.
